Education Qualification Details
Trade Apprentices require ITI Pass Certificate in respective Trade. Diploma Apprentices need Diploma Pass Certificate in engineering or technology in respective Discipline. Graduate Apprentices must have Graduate Degree in non-engineering streams such as BA, B.Sc., B.Com., etc. from AICTE/UGC/State Government/Central Government recognized institutions.
Age Limit
Trade Apprentices: 18-24 years, Diploma Apprentices: 18-25 years, Graduate Apprentices: 21-28 years. Age relaxation is provided for SC/ST (+5 years), OBC (+3 years), and PwD candidates (+10 to +15 years depending on category) as on 30.06.2026.

Trade Apprentices must register at National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme 2.0 (NAPS 2.0) portal. Graduate and Diploma Apprentices need to register at National Apprenticeship Training Scheme 2.0 (NATS 2.0) portal.
