Must have passed 12th standard with good reading and writing skills in Tamil and English and basic mathematical skills. In hilly areas, if no 12th pass candidate is available, 10th pass candidates with required eligibility may be considered with District Collector's special approval. Must be a female Self-Help Group member linked with Panchayat Level Federation, with at least 2 years experience as SHG animator, not employed in community-based organisations or full-time private jobs, not a member of defaulting groups, belonging to concerned Village Panchayat, preferably from target population identified by PIP/People’s Status Survey (relaxable if no suitable candidate). In tribal hilly areas, if no suitable female candidate is available, male candidates may be considered with District Collector’s special approval. Candidate should have good communication skills, experience in bank transactions and loan application work, preference for computer skills and valid two-wheeler licence, and must own and operate Android smartphone with SMS, WhatsApp and app handling skills.
